I noticed that it didn't help me at first either. However, I checked my
processes running in Task manager and noticed that even though I closed all
of the IE windows, it still had at least one running. I force quit all of
the IExplore.exe processes, and when I did, it worked.

Hi John,
Just want to let you know the actual duration minute field is an
integer field, you need to use JavaScript to update the value. I am
thinking of this on top of my head and you might want to check it with
the SDK.
crmForm.all.actualdurationminu tes.DataValue = 5;

Were you ever able to update your workstations via Group Policy? I'd love to
use the AutoUpdate feature, but the admin permission issue is a brick wall...
I can't find any way around it thusfar.

We got the same problem as users are not filtered with security when
used in ressources and service calendar.
Microsoft seem to work on a hotfix.
They told me to run these SQL query against org database (use with
caution - make a full backup before applying these procedures) to get
the security filter back

yeah, that particular formulae for determining whether or not there is
enough space has baffled me as well. in fairness, I guess it's tough when
you use variable-width fonts and we users can change the names of the
entities.

Network poor performance is "known" bug in CRM diagnostics. It will give
always that warning, even using loop-back adapter in server. It is not fixed
in Rollup1 even it has been a known issue.

part of software to previous version:
MS CRM 4.0 Server (Prof. and Ent.) -> MS CRM 3.0 Prof.
MS CRM 4.0 Work. -> MS CRM 3.0 SBE
MS CRM 4.0 CALs -> MS CRM 3.0 CALs
MS CRM 4.0 External Connector -> MS CRM 3.0 Connector
Of course you can buy from another company CALs for MS CRM (Open License only)

Genius :D
Expanding the Account window by a tiny amount displayed the text. Same for
the Quote and Contact windows too.
What I find odd is that when the text is missing, it looks like there is
plenty of room on the toolbar to display the text, but it's only until you've
expanded the window that CRM then uses all the space available.

Hi Jordi,
If the your goal is to share live data, I would lean toward linked servers.
Working with the live data is obviously a little slower then replicating
with SSIS, but it's also the most current data.

We had seen this warning on a few environments. It is only a warning, so we
just monitor the performance and it works fine.
Perhaps open a support ticket to help trouble-shoot the environment variable
that is causing the warning if the performance became a concern.
