It sounds like the OP is trying to do this on a budget. Pushing a 15
Meg track to and fro will not take _that_ much time. What, thirty
seconds each way?
If one were to use the HD24 as a dedicated onsite piece, then need to
transfer an evening's (or album's) amount of tracks to a computer for
the final mix, then having a Fireport to do that is a no brainer...
